Life Ledger is free to send death notifications

What you need

The deceased’s:
  • Date of Death
  • Full name and usual address
  • Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)
From you:
  • A piece of photographic ID, such as a passport of driving licence, to upload and verify your identity. (scan or photograph)

How Do I Tell Aviva Investors About a Death?

Unfortunately, we are unable to notify Aviva Investors of a death, however you can tell them yourself by:

Calling the team on 0800 051 2003
Writing an email to enquiries.uk@avivainvestors.com

What information do I need to report a death to Aviva Investors?

When contacting Aviva Investors, it’s best to have the following to hand:

    • The full name, address and date of birth of the deceased
    • The account number(s)
    • Their date of death
    • If you know of a Will
    • Who has been named as the executor and their contact details – don’t forget, if this isn’t you, that you will need to receive their permission to be able to pass on their details
    • Any next of kin, and their details – again, if this isn’t you, that you will need to receive their permission to be able to pass on their details
    • Their online form

    What happens next?

    Aviva Investors for sure will have their own processes to follow, but they will keep you updated as to what they are doing and potentially how long it may take.
